DARE TO DIVERSIFY: THE MUSIC OF EDDIE LAM

​Eddie Lam is a Vancouver-born music scene veteran and social media personality with one of the most diverse portfolios in town. A three-time Whammy Award winner for best piano player (and the first Chinese Canadian to win the award), he is most known for the following projects:

-Front man for local all-Asian rock band "Cry of Silence"
-Co-host and instrumentalist for live band karaoke event "Rockaoke Live" with cover band "Eddie Lam & The Naturals",
-Host plus piano man for "Piano Karaoke Night".
-"Eddie Lam All-Star Band" featuring members of all his projects merging together to play upbeat tunes.

In the middle of the 2020 Pandemic, Eddie grew his online presence utilizing YouTube doing song covers and going on TikTok playing musical instruments and teaching how to play hit songs on acoustic guitar in just under one minute. He can also be found on streaming platforms doing live music performances, music-related podcasts, and virtual talent shows to build an online community of musicians from all over the world.
 

Today, Eddie is back in full force with his bandmates and as a solo performer on stage playing at local community events and festivals; but that's not all...he also hosts live shows with unique formats featuring Vancouver's finest local musicians including open mic nights and much more. At the same time, he hasn't forgotten his online followers as he still does livestreams playing piano and consistently uploads entertaining and educational musical content.
